Repeat Excellence

Welcome to Repeat Excellence!

My name is Todd Smith and I make people’s dreams come true. Before you see through my delusions of grandeur, let me explain.

I am a normal guy. By profession, I am an IT Project Manager. But I’m really just a mildly geeky, nerdy, racquetball-loving, normal guy. I have a beautiful wife and three rapidly maturing children. They are my inspiration and motivation for everything. My desire to be better than I am is for them.

As a project manager, I take people’s dreams (project requirements) and turn them into reality. I’ve worked on a number of different types of projects, mostly related to information technology (e.g. software development, networking, storage, wireless systems, help desk systems, and social networking). I am not perfect at what I do, but I am seeking a level of excellence beyond where I am.

Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.” My quest for excellence is not simply to achieve it, but to live it…over and over again. This blog, Repeating Excellence, contains my musing and revelations and treasures that have helped me along the way.

I generally post every Tuesday and Friday. Please feel free to comment, follow me on twitter, and email me with feedback.

Again, welcome and enjoy your visit.

I do not actually get how there is much different between the New York Times printing this or some type of blog. Content like this must to be released out more to the public. I wished that people in the USA would do something like this.

Well…I am in the USA. Unfortunately, I don’t have the resources to print my own newspaper. I guess, in a way, that’s what WordPress does for us.
One way to get this out more is to spread the word. Please feel free to post links to Repeat Excellence on Twitter and Facebook.

Very good suggestions, you just gained a brand new reader. What would you suggest in regards to your post that you made a few days ago?
